BAF/CAF ADJUSTMENT FOR EUROPE, WEIGHT LIMITATION ON JAPAN LANE

1. Europe: GRI at USD200/400 will be applied from Apr. But it won‘t be effective for the first voyage in Apr. Only BAF and CAF were adjusted.
2. Japan: weight limitation became strict. The weight is not allowed to exceed 20 tons for 20‘ and 24 tons for 40‘. The ocean freight increased together with the resume of the export volume.
3. South East Asia: flexible market rates. Carriers like PIL, RCL and DONGNAMA implement strict weight limitation. But WANHAI and ZIM don‘t have the same policy.
4. BAF for Africa lane will be increased by USD139/TEU since Apr.
5. It‘s becoming peak season for Caribbean Sea and Latin America. Rates are increasing recently.
