Some New Regulations are Brought Forward

1. MSC just canceled the regulation of weighing every single container. It has been changed to random sample weighing. If the weighing result has a less than 2-ton difference with the data that was claimed by the shipper, the weighing charge will be RMB300/container. If the difference is or exceeds 2 tons, there will be a penalty of USD1000/container. Stone cargo will be weighed at nominated CY.
2. There will be very strict weight limitation for shipments from Tianjin to Japan since Apr. 1. The limitation for 20‘ is 17 tons, and 19 tons for 40‘.
3. CMA will launch there direct call service to USWC from Apr. 8.
4. CWTSA implemented new regulations for changing POD.
